Hey all!
Joy here and I have some amazingly inspirational quotes for all of you out there who either a) love quotes that make you feel good or b) need a piece of advice and/or a few kind words today. Without further ado, here are the best quotes I could find!

- “I never want to change so much that people can't recognize me.”
- “You're lucky enough to be different, never change.”

- “Young girls are told you have to be the delicate princess. Hermonie taught them that you can be the warrior.”
- “Women feel like we need permission. We need to lead and change that.”
- “The saddest things for a girl to dumb herself down for a guy.”
Kiera Cass:
- “You can be brave and still feminine. You can lead and still like flowers.”
- “Be your own hero.”
Barbara Bush:
- “You just don't luck into things as much as you'd like to think you do. You build step by step, whether it's friendships or opportunities.”
Eleanor Roosevelt:
- “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
Rachel Platen:
- “I might only be one match but I can make an explosion.”

The Beginning
Dear Reader,
You have stumbled across this blog, so why don't you stick around for a while.
This blog is meant to empower all people into creating a better world for everyone and everything. On this blog, we four Girl Scouts will be sharing our thoughts on female empowerment and our hopes for the future. Now, you are probably wondering "why a blog?" This blog is apart of our Girl Scout "Girltopia" journey in which we need to send a positive message of girl empowerment in some format. We will be using the mediums of writing, film, and art to express our individual thoughts and opinions.
Let us introduce ourselves. First we have Erin, what we like to call our "advice guru." When any of us have a problem, Erin is always there with a smile on her face and a solution. Next we have Claire, the artist. Whether it be a doodle or a portrait, Claire can draw it and win an award without breaking a sweat. Then there is Joy, the organizer. Without Joy, I'm not sure that this whole blog or project would function as well as it hopefully should. Finally, there's me, Julia. I am the writer of this blog and definitely the self-proclaimed nerd of the group.
Goodbye for now and remember, we can do it.
